Why learn Product Management?

Product managers are some of the most in demand jobs in Australia, and this role has been identified as an emerging skill gap according to a report produced by StartupAUS, produced in collaboration with Microsoft, UTS and Google. According to 2018 data, the average wage for Product Managers in Australian start ups is $120 000, whilst average across all organisations is $110k. This course is designed to help you pivot your career and provide you with the right building blocks to pursue your next role as a Product manager.

How does it work

This course will teach you all the skills required to get started as a product manager – from owning the roadmap and prioritising tasks, to having a clear vision and strategy and owning the full product lifecycle. You will understand how to deliver value to your customers and bridge technical and business worlds using modern, iterative methods.

You will finish your studies by presenting how to create a new product, and a go-to-market strategy that focuses on MVP, KPIs, market analyses, product life cycle and end user research. A very practical outcome indeed, and, as a bonus, you will receive personalised feedback to help you complete the task with flying colours.
